How to see and edit a guest’s details
Quick things change right in their row; everything else, in their profile. It saves on its own, no “Save” button.
Where to find it
Guest list → click the guest’s row → pencil icon (“Open profile”)
Before you start
- Having guests in your list.
Steps
- 1
Click the guest’s row. It opens with their photo in large, their details, their seats and their actions; “See more” also shows their table, their gift, their answers and your notes. On mobile, tapping the row opens their profile directly.
- 2
Change quick things right there: “Tickets”, “Confirmed” and “Used” with “+” and “−”, and “Confirmed via” with one click. It saves as soon as you tap.
- 3
Tap the row’s pencil to open their profile and edit everything else. The profile has four sections:
- “General”: photo, first name, last name, addressed as, who invites them, WhatsApp, email, hashtags and internal notes.
- “Invitation and messages”: their invitation link and what Keemo has sent them on WhatsApp.
- “RSVP and seats”: their seats, how they RSVP’d, their form answers, the name for each seat and their table.
- “Gift”: what they gave you, their message and your thank-you.
- 4
Leave the field you edited. The change is saved at that moment.
- 5
Move to the next guest with the arrows at the top right, or open the counter (“3 of 120”) and search for anyone by name.
Result
The guest’s details are updated instantly, in their profile and in your list.
Notes
The arrows go through guests in your list’s order, with whatever filters you have on.
“Internal notes” are only seen by the hosts. They’re the same ones that show up when checking them in on the day of the event.
In “Seat names” you can say who takes each ticket of the invitation (“Dad”, “Lucía”). It’s optional.
If your event has more than one language, in “General” you also choose their invitation’s language.
To change the same detail for many guests (tables, gifts, phones), use your list’s “Sheet” view.
Common issues
On purpose: nobody can confirm more seats than they have. Check them and adjust if needed.
The guest ticks that box when they RSVP from their link. You record the RSVPs you get by phone or in person.
Check your connection and leave the field again.
Check the country code and that the number has no spaces. While the warning shows, the number isn’t saved.
If they already have a spot on the seating plan, it’s changed from there.
There’s no undo, but no drama either: fix it and leave the field again.
