How to search, filter, sort and group your list

How many on the groom’s side have RSVP’d? Who still has no table? Your list will tell you, if you ask it right.

Computer only

Where to find it

Guest list → top bar

Before you start

  • Having guests in your list.
  • A computer. On mobile there’s only the search.

Steps

  1. 1

Search by typing in “Search”. It finds by first name, last name or phone.

  2. 2

Filter by “Invited by”, “Hashtags”, “RSVP”, “Table or seat” or “Attendance”. In multi-value filters choose whether it must match “Any”, “All” or “Exact”.

  3. 3

Sort with the “Sort” icon: by “First name”, “Last name”, “Confirmed seats”, “Date created” or “Date modified”. The arrow flips the order.

  4. 4

Group with the “Group” icon: by “Invited by”, “Hashtags”, alphabetical order, “RSVP” or “Table”.

  5. 5

Read the totals for each group: “Invitations”, “Guests” and “Confirmed”.

Result

You only see the slice of the list you care about, with the math already done.

Notes

Tick the boxes of several rows so the totals count only those. Handy for quickly adding up “the cousins’ table” without a calculator.

Whatever you have filtered is what gets exported to Excel.

Common issues

Special case

If you group by “Hashtags” and they have two hashtags, they show up in both. They’re not duplicated.

Check that you don’t have a forgotten filter from an earlier search.
