How to know whether your guest got the WhatsApp
Sent, delivered, read, with date and time. And if it says “Read” and they haven’t RSVP’d, you know who needs a serious talk.
Where to find it
Guest list → click the row. The full history is in their profile (pencil icon) → “Invitation and messages”
Before you start
- Having messaged the guest with “Notify”.
Steps
- 1
Open the guest’s row. Under “WhatsApp” you see the progress of their last send in four steps (processing, sent, delivered, read) and, below, the status with its date and time: “Not sent”, “Processing”, “Sent”, “Delivered”, “Read” or “Failed to send”.
- 2
Tap the row’s pencil and go to “Invitation and messages” to see the history.
- 3
Check each send. It says what was sent (“Invitation” or “Ticket”), when, with which template and who sent it. Below is each step with its date and time: processing, sent, delivered, read.
- 4
If it failed, the reason shows under that send.
Result
You know who got it and when they read it, who to resend to and which phone to fix.
Notes
The row’s status is that of the last message. Earlier ones stay in the history, newest to oldest.
The ticket the guest gets when they RSVP also shows in their history.
In “What you’ve done with their invitation” you see how many times you copied their link or downloaded their invitation.
Common issues
The guest may have WhatsApp read receipts turned off. It reached them, all right.
If you sent it from your WhatsApp with “Copy message and link”, Keemo doesn’t find out. It only records what you send with “Notify”.
That detail is saved since October 2026. Earlier sends only have their dates and statuses.
