How to add your list from Excel
Copy your list from Excel or Google Sheets and paste it into the guest sheet. All in one step, no templates or files to upload.
Where to find it
Guest list → “Sheet”, or the arrow next to “New” → “Add or edit several”
Before you start
- Your hosts set up.
- A computer. The sheet isn’t available on mobile.
Steps
- 1
Open the guest sheet. In your list, tap “Sheet” or the arrow next to “New” → “Add or edit several”.
- 2
Copy your list in Excel or Google Sheets, header row included (first name, last name, phone...).
- 3
Click the first empty row of the sheet, below your last guest.
- 4
Paste with Ctrl + V (Cmd + V on Mac). Keemo recognizes the headers and puts each column in its place.
- 5
Fix the red cells. Click one to see what’s missing, or tap “Show” in the bottom bar to jump to the next one.
- 6
Tap “Save”. Nothing is saved until then, so you can paste, delete and paste again without worry.
Result
Every row you filled in is a new guest in your list, ready to get their invitation.
Notes
To add a guest you need five details: first name, who invites them, WhatsApp, at least one hashtag and seats (from 1 to 10). Everything else is optional. If you leave “Addressed as” empty, their full name is used.
In “Invited by” the host’s name is enough; capitals and accents don’t matter. If several invite them, separate them with commas: “Mariana, Manuel”. With a single host the cell fills in on its own.
The phone can have spaces or dashes. If it comes with a country code (“+52 55 1234 5678”), the code is set on its own; if not, Mexico’s is assumed and you change it in its column.
Your Excel has no headers? It works too: what you paste lands as is, starting at the cell you’re on. Paste column by column, or drag the sheet’s headers to put them in the same order as your file.
The sheet recognizes headers in Spanish, English and French.
Common issues
The name doesn’t match any of your hosts. Double-click the cell and pick from the list.
Check that the number is complete and that the country code is the right one.
You pasted on top of rows with guests and their details changed. If that wasn’t the idea, tap “Undo” and paste again in an empty row.
Your Excel has columns the sheet doesn’t (for example, “Age”). They’re ignored; the rest pastes normally.
A new row has the same WhatsApp or the same name as someone already in your list. Tap “Show” to check it; if it really is another person, save without worry.
For a bigger invitation, split it into two rows.
Keemo warns you before you leave. What wasn’t saved is lost.
