How to show an element only to certain guests
The same design can change with each guest’s language or hashtags. One invitation, several versions.
Where to find it
Invitation editor → open a layer → “Show only if…”
Before you start
- An element already in your design.
- To filter by hashtag, your guests need their hashtags in your list.
Steps
- 1
Open the element’s layer in the editor and scroll down to “Show only if…”.
- 2
Tap “Add condition”.
- 3
Choose what to check: “Guest language” or “Guest hashtags”.
- 4
Choose how to compare it. For language, “Is” or “Is not”. For hashtags, “Has any of”, “Has none of”, “Has all of”, “Is missing any of”, “Has only” or “Doesn’t have only”.
- 5
Enter the value. Tick one or more languages, or type the hashtags separated by spaces. When you leave the field, Keemo adds the
#. - 6
Tap “Add another condition” if you need more. With several, under “When there are several conditions” you decide whether “All are met” or “Any is met”.
Result
The element only appears for guests who meet your conditions, both in their invitation and in the image they receive. The layer gets a blue icon: hover over it to see the summary, “Only visible to guests who meet: …”.
Notes
An invitation in two languages: duplicate each text, write one in each language and keep them in the same spot. Give one “Guest language” “Is” “Español”, and the other “English”. Each guest sees only theirs.
Change a text for a group: give the special text “Has any of” #VIP, and the regular one “Has none of” #VIP. Every condition has its opposite for exactly this: one appears where the other hides.
Hashtags are written exactly as they are in your list. #Family and #family are different hashtags, and accents count too.
“Has only” asks for the guest to have exactly those hashtags, not one more.
A condition with no value hides nothing: while it’s half done, everyone sees the element. Same with no conditions.
To remove a condition use the “x” on its box (“Remove”).
Common issues
Check that the hashtag is written the same as in your list, with its capitals and accents. Test it with the simulator above the design.
That’s normal: without simulating, the editor shows every element at once. Choose a language in “View as a guest in” to see a single version.
Thumbnails show the full design. Your guests only see what applies to them.
