How to design your invitation in the editor
Add texts, images, shapes and backgrounds, arrange them and you’re done. Keemo saves on its own.
Where to find it
Your invitation → “Invitation” group → “Outside”, “Inside” or “Ticket”
Before you start
- An invitation already created.
- A computer or a wide screen.
Steps
- 1
Open your invitation and, in the “Invitation” group, tap the side you want to design: “Outside”, “Inside” or “Ticket”. The editor opens, with your layers on the left and the design on the right.
- 2
Tap “Add element” and choose “Text”, “Image”, “Shape”, “Background”, “Link” or “Map link”. It shows up as a new layer at the top of the list.
- 3
Open the layer to adjust it. Depending on the element you’ll see its text and “Typography”, its “Color”, the “Opacity”, the “Dimensions” and the “Position”.
- 4
Place it in the design: drag it into place and resize it from the edges.
- 5
Order your layers with the buttons at the bottom of each one: “Move down”, “Move up”, “Duplicate” and “Delete”.
- 6
Wait until it says “Saved”, at the top right. There’s no save button: the label goes by itself from “Unsaved changes” to “Saving” and to “Saved”.
- 7
Tap “Back” to return to your invitation.
Result
Your design is saved and shows on the card for that side.
Notes
The eye on each layer hides it without deleting it. Handy for trying ideas without losing what you had.
To rename a layer, click its name, type the new one and press Enter. With twenty layers called “Fixed text”, you’ll be glad you did.
To make a text change for each guest, use “Dynamic text fields” in the text layer: insert their name, the event date and more.
Images can be .png, .jpg, .jpeg, .gif or .webp.
“Outside” and “Inside” are 1000 × 775 px; the “Ticket”, 1000 × 1400 px. The ticket has a space reserved for each guest’s access code: don’t put design there.
There’s no undo. Before a big change, use “Duplicate” on the layer and work on the copy.
Common issues
The editor needs a wide screen. Open it on a computer or make the window bigger.
Check that it’s one of the formats above and try again.
Keemo saves a couple of seconds after your last move. Wait for “Saved” before closing.
