How to write the thank-you message for your guests

One text for everyone, personalized with each guest’s name. It shows in the “Thank you” section of their invitation.

Where to find it

“Settings” → “Messages” → “General thank-you message”

Before you start

  • Having your event open.
  • An invitation assigned to the event, with a design in the “Thank-yous” group.

Steps

  1. 1

Open “Settings” in your event header and go to “Messages”.

  2. 2

Write your message in “General thank-you message”.

  3. 3

Personalize it with the “Name”, “Addressed as” and “Hosts” buttons, or with the ones in “More fields”. Each one writes a marker like {{nombre}} where the cursor is.

  4. 4

Tap “Preview” to see how it would look for a sample guest.

  5. 5

    Tap “Save”.

Result

In the “Thank you” section of their invitation, each guest reads your message with their own details.

Notes

An example of how it’s written:

{{nombre}}, thank you for being with us on such a special day. With love, {{anfitriones}}.

For the message to show, your invitation needs a design in the “Thank-yous” group with a text that has the “Thank you” dynamic field. Without that design, the button doesn’t appear in the invitation.

If you write a guest their own “Thank you” from the guest list, that text replaces the general one for that person only.

When the section shows up is decided in “Settings” → “Visibility” → “Thank you”.

Common issues

Special case

The marker is misspelled, for example {{Nombre}} with a capital letter. Tap “Change to…” in the warning, or delete it and insert it with its button.

Special case

Check two things: that your invitation has a design in “Thank-yous” and that the “Thank you” rule in “Visibility” already allows it.
