How to write the message that goes with your invitation
The text that’s copied along with the link when you send the invitation from your WhatsApp. You write it once and it comes out personalized for each guest.
Where to find it
“Settings” → “Messages” → “Message for sharing the invitation”
Before you start
- Having your event open.
Steps
- 1
Open “Settings” in your event header and go to “Messages”.
- 2
Write your message in “Message for sharing the invitation”.
- 3
Insert the link: put the cursor where you want it and tap “Invitation link”, below the field. Keemo swaps the end for each guest’s code.
- 4
Personalize it with the “Name” and “Addressed as” buttons, or with the ones in “More fields”. Each one writes a marker like
{{nombre}}where the cursor is. - 5
Tap “Preview” to see your message the way a sample guest would get it.
- 6
Tap “Save”.
Result
Every time you use “Copy message and link” or “Open message and link in WhatsApp”, the message comes out with that guest’s name and link.
Notes
An example of how it’s written:
Hi {{nombre}}, we’re getting married and we want you there. Here’s your invitation: https://keemo.app/invitation/{{link_invitacion}}
“More fields” has more: last name, tickets offered, hosts, event type, date, time and days left. Each option shows an example of what it writes.
You can also type the markers by hand: they go between double curly braces, lowercase, without accents and with underscores. Markers are always written the same, whatever your language.
The same buttons are in “General thank-you message”, on that same tab.
This message is not the one “Notify on WhatsApp” sends. That one uses WhatsApp-approved templates you choose when sending.
Common issues
The marker is misspelled, for example {{Nombre}} with a capital letter. Tap “Change to…” in the warning, or delete it and insert it with its button.
You only typed {{link_invitacion}}. Delete it and tap “Invitation link”, which inserts the full link.
The link was missing from the text. Insert it as in step 3 and save.
