How to give other people access to your event
Add your partner, your planner or whoever is helping you, and choose the role each person gets.
Where to find it
The profile pictures next to “Settings”, in your event header. On your phone, the bottom menu → “Team”.
Before you start
- Being a host of the event or having created it.
Steps
- 1
Tap the profile pictures in your event header. “Event team” opens with everyone who has access.
- 2
Tap “Add people”. You can also use the “+” button next to the pictures.
- 3
Choose the role in “Joins as”: “Host”, “Planner” or “Planner assistant”.
- 4
Search for the person by name or email. We suggest people you already share other events with.
- 5
Tap “Add” next to their name. If they don’t show up, type their full email and tap “Add” on “Add…”.
Result
The person shows up in “Event team” as “Hasn’t accepted yet”. When they open Keemo, they see your event in their list and accept it. If they don’t have an account yet, they get access as soon as they sign up with that same email.
Notes
Only a host can add, change or remove people. Everyone else can see who’s on the team but can’t change it.
To change someone’s role, find them in “Event team” and pick another one from their role list. To remove their access, tap “Remove” and then “Remove?” to confirm.
The event owner, the account that created it, can’t be removed or have their role changed.
Common issues
Only hosts see them. Ask a host to change your role to “Host”.
They’re already on the team, maybe still as “Hasn’t accepted yet”.
Before removing or changing the last host, give that role to someone else.
Check that they signed up with the same email you typed and that they accepted the event in their list.
