How to write your letter and find out who you’re giving to in Secret Santa

Before you start

• The link the organizer sent you. No account needed.

Steps

1. 1

   Open the link. You’ll see your name and the name of the exchange.

   Write your letter. Answer “This year I’ve been...”, write what you’d like to get under “So here’s my wish list:” and sign below “Sincerely”.

   Send your letter.

   Find out who you’re giving to. If your secret friend already wrote their letter, you’ll see it in full; the signature tells you who it is. If they haven’t written it yet, you’ll see “Your secret friend is” and their name.

   Check the exchange details: note from the organizer, theme, budget, date and place.

Result

You know who to give a gift to, what they’d like and how much to spend.

Notes

If your secret friend hasn’t written their letter yet, open your link again later to see what they asked for.

Check your letter carefully before sending it: it can’t be edited afterwards.
